Sample websites for Huntsville-area businesses
These three are demo sites for made-up businesses. Each one solves a problem I see all the time on real local business sites, and each one has its own look to show the range.
Hickory Hollow Smokehouse
A menu-first restaurant site that answers "are you open, and what's good?" in one tap.
The problem
Most small restaurants rely on a Facebook page and a photo of a paper menu. Customers on their phones cannot read the menu, cannot tell if the place is open, and give up before calling.
What I built
- A real, readable menu in HTML instead of a photo, so it is searchable and zooms on phones
- Open-now hours, tap-to-call and one-tap directions at the top of every page
- Catering inquiry section with a short form for large orders
- Smoky, bold look that matches a pit-barbecue brand

Ironclad Ridge Roofing
A lead-generation site built around one goal: get the homeowner to request a free inspection.
The problem
Roofing customers usually search right after a storm, in a hurry, on a phone. A slow site with no clear next step sends that lead to the next contractor on Google.
What I built
- Free-inspection request form at the top of the page
- Storm-damage and insurance-claim sections written for local search
- Trust section for licenses, insurance and warranties
- High-contrast, industrial design that reads well outdoors in sunlight
Static HTML and CSS, no JavaScript framework

Velvet & Vine Salon
An elegant salon site with clear service pricing and a book-now button on every screen.
The problem
Salon clients want to see prices and stylists before they book. When that lives only in DMs and phone calls, the front desk spends the day answering the same questions.
What I built
- Service menu with clear starting prices
- Stylist profiles so clients can pick who they want
- Sticky "Book now" button that links to the booking tool
- Soft, editorial look that fits a boutique salon
Static HTML and CSS, works with any booking service
